New user manuals in PDF format are available on our website and throughout the support function in the system. Please remember that help documents for the newest functions are always first available through the online help. The PDF manuals are however convinient for new users to get an overview of the system.
Several of the help texts have also been rewritten throughout the summer.

This page is frequently used when adding and amending your travel resources. It has been redesigned to be easier to navigate. You can also do many of the most frequently used tasks in less clicks. You can search for packages, transports, hotels, room types, room allotments etc directly from this page.
Many of the related functions, such as mass updating of packages, transports and similar are also available in a logical manner directly from the page.

We now have complemented the report Profit margin per booking so that for each reservation main account from the project, alternatively standard account for dynamic booking (set in standardRevAccountALC in Base parameters) and the revenue accounts stated on the free invoice are shown.
At the bottom is an accounting based on a summary of the accounts in the report.
The report can be per order date or departure date.
NB that departure date is the correct date for revenue and that this report should not replace the function Book keep.

A new function has been added to make it easy to repeat the same type of mass amendment for packages. In many cases you might want to do the same kind of changes to different series of packagas. In this case, you can send all amended data back from the last step in the mass amendment of package function.

Normally the cheapest room type, suitable for the number of persons in the booking, is shown first. However sometimes this room type can be on a waiting list and there is a more expensive room type that is not on a waiting list. It is now possible to control so that the more expensive room type is pre-selected instead.

From now on information about overbooking is saved on the booking. If there is such information saved and the booking is preliminary, you will see a help bubble to the right of the headline showing information about the overbooking.

Sometimes you may need to send a message or a new confirmation to all those booked on a certain departure place, this can be for example during a reconstruction or similar. To make it easier to inform customers concerned by this, you now can search for customers booked on a certain bus connection during a certain time period.

We have developed a new booking engine integrating the booking of pre-packed tours and dynamic tours build at the time of booking from resources in the system. Trough a framework of rules this can be connected to low cost flights and GDS flights as well as external hotel systems. The tours are presented in a graphical interface including options to display Google maps, more images and similar. This new booking interface can be combined with all previous ways to display the tours where the destinations, hotels and similar are presented. Please see our pilot client Best Travel for an introduction to this new interface.

To our manned support we have added several new automatic features. This includes an advanced search function where you can search through our entire online help. The search is also powered with an intelligent way to understand synonyms, e.g. you can search for invoice and find confirmation as we use these words synonymously. Throughout the years, we have handled many thousand support questions. We have gathered the most frequently asked questions in a separate database which is also searched when you search in the online help database. We also have a self learning feature where all searches are collected and analysed to learn the system new synonyms.
You can also easily search through your old errands as well as direct links to our PDF Manuals. And as usual, our support is manned all days of the year from 8 am to 11 pm CET.

As you might notice in the title field on our website or some of our clients, you might have noticed that there is a small icon/logo to the left of the company name. This is called favicon and gives your company some more graphical impact and makes it easier to find your website if your customer has many open windows. If you want to add this to your website powered by Travelize CMS, please contact our support with an image suitable for this format. NB favicons does not work in all web browsers so in some browsers you will not see the icon.
