Integration with Transhotel

Transhotel has now been integrated in Travelize dynamic booking enginge. Transhotel offers accommodation with price and availability for more than 30 000 hotels around the world. These can be offered in combination with hotels entered directly into Travelize and business rules can be set to what is presented where to suit the individual tour operator’s strategy. All accommodation can be sold in package together with low cost and GDS flights available.

Hekla Travel is our first client to introduce the Transhotel integration for their sales in Denmark, Sweden and the UK. Hekla is using our module for multi country sales with efficient sharing of resources through the different sales countries. Hekla will also launch this solution is several other countries.

Hekla is owned by Northern Travel Holding with major ownership also in Sterling and IcelandExpress. Therefore Hekla has a strategy to only offer these airlines with direct connections to the airlines’ reservation systems.

Two new statistical reports for rapid summary of package sales per accounts set for the packages

These two reports summarize the sales of packages per departure date and booking date respectively based on the accounts set on the packages. As all other statistical reports, these can be grouped by year, months, week and date and you can also make more specific searches.

Option to set own joker sign in statistical reports

In several reports you can search for part of the product code or similar. If you write PAR as an example (those searches are not case sensitive, so PAR and par will give the same result), all those containing PAR will be included, such as SAPPARRA, PARIS. Technically this is a search with a joker sign before and after PAR, %PAR%. By using this new function - Use your own joker sign - you will be able to insert the joker signs instead of having the system to set them before and after. This is very handy if you would like all starting with PAR but not SAPPARA for example. In this case you write PAR%.

New features to display guaranteed allocation

You can mark guaranteed allocation on rooms and transports if applicable. The report which shows the guaranteed allocation has been improved with more search and filtering options. In the booking process, logged in admins will see where there is guarantee allotment which has not been used yet to be able to steer the sales to those tours. Transports are displayed in step 1, and rooms in step 2 for logged in admins.

Possibility to assign agents with access to search and see all bookings

It is now possible to set up the profile for an agent to give it access to search and see all bookings. This can be used if the agent works as a call center and should be able to answer question about all bookings, also those made by web customers.

Automatic generation of site map

A new function in the Content Management has been added which generates site maps automatically. A site map can improve the possibilities for search engines to index your site and give it a better ranking. If you would like to integrate this dynamically generated site map, please contact the support and also describe where it should be added.

If you generally do not allow waiting list it is now possible to allow this on certain products

You can now choose to activate waiting list on certain products. All bookings made connected to this product will be possible to put on a waiting list.

New statistic functions - Travel insurance

Beneath Reports/Statistics you will now find new report possibilities that show the amount of sold travel insurances/sales person and web client. You can select it per date product, departure- or sales date.

Possibillity to inactivate a timetable

You can now inactivate a timetable. In order to do so you need to go into the timetable and deselect Active and save. After this is done you will only se the active timetables when creating new- or editing transports. If you in activate old timetables you will find the Connection list exported much faster.

Major interest for Travelize at the Tur-fair, March 22-23 in Gothenburg

As usual, we demonstrated a lot of new functions in the system during the Tur-fair. The launch of the completely new flight integration to GDS and about 20 low cost carriers was very successful with a lot of interest from both current and new clients. A lot of trade visitors took the opportunity to meet as and get an vitamin injection for both their online sales and to coop with the long days at the fair. In total 200 kgs of fruit and 50 litres of vitamin drinks were consumed at our stand. Thank you all for visiting us during the Tur-fair!
