Interactive map function

A new interactive map function with zooming, satellite images etc has been added to the system. Hotels and similar can be displayed on the map and the customer can select accommodation by location in a very simple way. To integrate this in your design, your templates might need to be modified.

New integration to flight booking systems

We are now launching a new module for integration directly into GDS and low cost carrier systems. This will allow your customers to create dynamic packages on your own hotel allocation with flights taken directly from the central reservation systems.

You can also create normal packages in Travelize and set rules for which flights should be found externally. The price can also be dynamically adjusted if it is higher than the calculated price.

The module has been tested by some of our customers for a couple of weeks now with very good result. There are many possibilities with this new module to boost your sales.

New special villa rental module

We are now launching a new module specifically made for villa renting. Accommodation is a very important part for most of our more than 100 tour operators using the system. Up to now, accommodation has been most targeted to hotel, apartment and similar accommodation.

To accommodate the other needs for villa renting, we have developed a special module for this. The price handling is simplified compared to hotel price handling. There are also many special reports for key hand-out, cleaning, power and telephone usage and similar.

A completely new and dynamic map function has also been integrated. You can plot your villas, hotel and similar on Google map and allow your customers to book by location.

New statistical reports for discounts

New statistical reports for discounts have been added. They show discounts set by the advanced discounts rules or manually entered and is grouped by type of discount by departure or sales date. The report does not include child discounts or internet discounts.

New functions that will automatically correct upper-/lower-case letters in name and address fields

It is closer to 40% of the people who order a brochure that enters their data without upper-case in the names and address fields. Therefore we now have a function the will help you automatically correct these entries. The new logic will see if there is more than one upper-case in the beginning of the name and if so the entry will remain. This is in order not to change names that has e.g. to uppercase letters in their names such as "McPearson", "Von Holst". It is possible to use all upper-case letters in the last name. If so please contact the support and they will help you with to set up your system to work this way.

Profit margin per booking

This new report allows you to give profit and profit margin on individual bookings. To be able to do this the cost prices have to be set in the system. You can select the report by booking date or departure date. You can also limit the report for specific products and/or sales staff/agents.

Report for manual discounts

2007-02-11

With this new function you will now be able to see manual discounts, e.g. those who are not calculated by the system, on bookings made during a certain period or that are departing a certain period.

New statistic report for Sex and Nationality

in Reports/Statistics you will now find four new reports that have Sex and Nationality on the travellers per booking- and or departure date.

Suppliers statistics

2007-02-09

A new report that will show all bookings within given date interval connected to a supplier has been added. You will find it in the Suppliers section. You can select to search on booking date and or departure date. You can choose to search on a specific supplier and also tick in if you only ant to include active bookings. The list will show if the supplier is connected to transport, hotel or to an order row on a free invoice. You can use this report when negotiating with your suppliers or similar.
