Possibility to add extra nights after confirmation of package booking

You now have the possibility to let the customer book extra nights after they have confirmed a package booking. A link can be activated which will lead them to A la Carte booking for hotels, where hotels and dates can be pre-selected. The same customer id is used so you will only have to make your hotel choice, date and room type also has to be chosen. Please contact the support if you want to start using this new feature. You need to have A la Carte and the knowledge on how to use it.

Option to select which requests to be sent for multi centre booking

When making a new booking or rebooking with multiple hotels in A la Carte you now get to choose to which hotel you'd like to send a request. Simply select the ones you do not want to send the request to. In this upgrade you will now also see that the hotel requests will show the name of the hotel and date. It will be easier for you to see which request that belongs to which hotel when having a multi centre booking.

List book kept bookings

After the status Book kept you will see the reference number. In the booking you will also be able to see which date and by who it was book kept. If you click on the reference number with in the parentheses you will be able to see all the bookings which were book kept at the same time.

Travel Technology show in London 13-14 February

There was a major interest for Travelize system at the Travel Technology show on February 13-14 at Earls Court, London. Visitors from around the world had a look at our solutions and new clients were signed up during the expo.

Travel Technology show is the leading travel industry fair in Europe, entirely focused on technology solutions for the travel industry. It is a natural step for Travelize when approaching and entering the UK and EU market, to exhibit on the Travel Technology show.

Credit card payments rules per package and bringing the process into an earlier step in the booking

You can now on the package itself choose which and how the payment should be done. Should the payment of deposit and/or the final fee be paid while the booking is made? When it comes to the ALC booking, it is done by setting different parameters in the system. If you need or want to use this please contact the support and we will help you to set this up. The payment with credit card is moved to step 4 in the booking to help the process run more smoothly. The card fee is given in % or in a fixed amount. Please observer that in many countries it is not allowed/legal according to the agreement with the card supplier to take an administrative charge. This is automatically added in step 4 and is saved separately on the booking which means that it is shown in ?Change booking?, e-mail confirmations and standard confirmations. If credit card is chosen (or if mandatory) in step 4 you will get to step 5 as before when the payment has gone through. If any part of the booking is not confirmed a credit card transaction will not be made, it will then stop in order 5. If not stopped a prompt will be shown e.g. ?Payment in process?. When payment is completed a confirmation will be shown. If the card is not accepted you will be posted into a now page where the customer can try to enter the payment info again. New functionality for guarantee allotment

If you have guarantee allotments on your hotel- or transports you can now specify this. You can also mass update this on either the hotel (Amend room allotment day to day basis) or the transport (Update transport). We have added a report for Guarantee allotment in the Travel Administration. You can sort it on hotel or transport during a certain time period. If only "open balances" is ticked the bookings which equal to the guarantee allotment will not show.

Improvement has been done on the stop sales of hotels

You now have more search function. Amongst others it is now possible to select Product code, country and supplier while you are setting stop sales on a hotel during a selected period. The function is also printing out the history data on each hotel and room type after this update

Report overview of passengers? age

The report shows the passengars Age of those travellers which age is entered in the system. You choose to add the birth date or leave the fields open. If no age is entered, all ages will show, if only 1 age is entered the list will show from this age and up. You can also limit the report down to departure date with the same principals as above or choose a certain project. If you leave the departure date blank it will show dates from the print date and onwards. If you need to print out on departed trips you need to enter the first date. You have a total of Minimum-, Max- and Average- Age.

Different flight price categories/groups in the Flight system

When selling only flight you can now divide your seats on the flight in sections, and set unlimited amount of prices. When a booking is made it checks the total amount booked + and the total allotment of the transport. It will then take the first available price group that has the right amount of available allotment. You can enter the from and to date on each price class which it should be bookable. If you leave the date fields empty they will be available at all times. If the system can't find a correct price class match for the booking, the price that is set on the transport will be presented.
