Translation matrix for multiple language module

Many of our tour operators are using multi language module. This is presenting the content of the websites in additional languages. E.g. the customer can choose to book in English on a Norwegian site. Some texts - destination, package name and such - can now be translated in a translation matrix. This has previously been done by Travelize support however it can now be done by our users without having to rely on the support.

Integrated function to send automatic SMS from Travelize

A new function to automatically send SMS has been integrated into Travelize. As a first feature, you can select to receive a message to one or several mobile numbers when a late booking arrives. You will get basic information about the reservation and contact details to the customer. For many small operators this could mean that the sales could stay open longer than before. More features based on SMS will be integrated. For example the plan is to offer the possibility to collect mobile numbers to customers willing to travel on short notice and send out last minute offers to them. SMS is a very powerful marketing tool when the customer has signed up for such service. Another planned feature is the possible to in addition to e-mail and printed messages also send out SMS to selections of customers on a specific tour or similar giving information about changed departure time or similar. The SMS will reach the customer much faster than e-mail or printed letter. You are welcome to give us suggestions to other areas where you would like to see the SMS feature being implemented. Contact our support if you want to start using the SMS functions. The cost is 12 p per SMS currently with a service fee of £ 15 per month.

Statuslist on Hotels/Rooms

A new function to print out status reports of hotel/rooms has been added to the system. When the roominglist has been printed out, a pop-up will appear similar to when you print out a travel/invoice document. When you have made a new-, change of- or re-booking this status will be set on the bookings. Trough the report Statuslist Room you can search a specific hotel or all hotels. You can also combine All hotels with limits on Suppliers or Productcode. You will receive a list of the new bookings, changed, or rebooked on the selected hotel/s and period. On the link to the right on a booking you can manually set the status "Reported to the hotel". This will be done automatically the next time you will print the Roomlist and confirm the pop-up.

Net Sales Report

All the usual statistic reports shows only active bookings, apart from report cancelled bookings. When you print out a statistic per bookingday, all the bookings active that specific day will be on the list even though it is cancelled. To see Net Sales a given day, week, month or year a new report has been developed. This report shows the sum of all newbookings, all cancellations, disregarding when they have been booked, on the same period. This will give you the correct Net Sales on the selected period. Turnover and pax sums are shown.

New statistical report selected on both order- and departure date

This report can be used in order to compare sales dates from a coming period versus a past period.

Meet us on the Vest Norden fair, Reykjavik September 11-13

Travelize have several clients in the region and sees a strong interest from tour operators and destination management companies and similar in the region as well as around the world for our solution.

Automatic e-mail receipt function for registered payments

Several tour operators have many phone calls where the customers merely check if a payment has been registered. In addition to the functions where the customer can log in into the reservation to see payment status and similar, the system can now also send out an e-mail receipt of all payments registered, irrespective of kind of payment, giving less such telephone calls.

Search by transportation type in reservations

If you have many different transportation types - such as train, coach, flight, boat - you can let the customer select packages by transport type in addition to destination, web code, departure time, hotel and similar.

New selection possibilities for statistical reports

Several of the standard statistical reports can now be limited to certain groups of product or package ids. Reports marked with * can be limited by product code and those marked with ** can be limited based on project id.

Advanced discount rules for automatic validation and calculation in the reservation proces

In the marketing module, an advanced function to set up discounts has now been added. You can set up almost any combination of product, hotel, room type, duration, date band of reservation, date band on departure date and similar to determine if the customer is entitled to a discount. The discount is automatically calculated based on these rules and can be set by adult, per passenger, per reservation or per room. These new discount rules are in addition to the child discount rules, internet discount rules which will continue to operate as usual.
