More than 50 % online reservations

UCPA, the most profitable tour operator in Sweden, has been very succesful with their on-line sales. - Currently we receive more than 50 % of our bookings directly from our web site, says Alex Tzikas manager UCPA. The customers appreciate the possibility to book 24 hours a day and the previous problems with completely overloaded telephone lines when the brochure is released has substantially been improved. Improved search and export functions in customer database.

Several new functions for searching and exporting information from the customer database have been added (Marketing Module is required for these new functions). You can export to either text or Excel file to send to printer, produce merged letters in Word or similar. Advanced searched can also be added and stored. We can enter and save such searches directly into your system. There is also advanced functions to eliminate duplicates when exporting information from the database. This function will ensure that only one address is exported even though addresses might be differently entered, such as Leicester Square, Leicester Sq. Leicestre sq etc. External investigations show that a normal customer database consist of 8 % dubplicates in this way. Significant cost saving can be reached when distributing catalogoues and similar!

Voucher from Free Invoice

From our Free Invoice module you can now also print vouchers. Useful if you sell a single product and need to supply a voucher to the customer - all information is reused in the system.

Supplier log in for additional lists and export functions

Suppliers with a supplier log in to the system can now access Transport lists, Cabin Lists, Room lists and Participation lists. They can also export these lists to Excel if they need to put them together in a specific format or would like to add information to the lists.

Selling shared rooms

The sales process to handle shared rooms has been simplified. When entering the room allotment, you decide if the room is possible to book in shares. For room types with this enabled, the system will automatically suggest a shared such room when suitable and you can select number of shares in such rooms and combine with other room types when performing an advanced room selection.

Additional text on picture library

In picture gallery function you (see www.fjordadventures.com as an example of picture gallery) you can now also add text to the picture. This makes the pictures even more selling! You add the text in the picture library in the content management system.

Reconnect booking to customer ID

From time to time, you may have to reconnect a booking to a new customer id. This might be the case when the the main customer on a Split Invoice cancels. New functionality has been added to make this reconnection simple. In Customer Administration "Reconnect booking to new customer id" select booking id. You will see details about current customer and all split addresses if any. Select a new customer and update.

Cax report becomes repayment report with several new functions

2004-08-27

The cax reports has been renamed into Repayment report. It shows all cancelled bookings from last time it was confirmed as well as bookings with more registered as paid than the total booking value (which can be the result of customer error, change of tour and similar). Upon confirming this report, a book keeping transaction will be created crediting these amounts on the reservations. You can select which bookings to confirm by checking all or individual reservations. By default the report only shows reservations with at least £ 1 (or 1 in any currency) for active bookings wiht more paid than total cost. If you would like another cut off level we will be happy to configurate this for you. You can also sort the report by clicking on the arrows in the headlines.

Hotel / golf attributes

In the Content Management modul you can now add more attributes for hotels and golf courses. This enables efficient publishing and search possibilities. Please see Gozo Reiser as an example: www.gozoreiser.no.
